This comprehensive Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training program is designed to equip new and aspiring commercial drivers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to operate commercial motor vehicles safely and legally. The curriculum covers everything from the fundamentals of CDLs and vehicle inspections to safe driving practices, cargo handling, emergency procedures, and hazardou
This course provides a foundational understanding of transporting hazardous materials (HM) safely and in compliance with federal regulations. Through 13 focused modules, learners will gain essential knowledge required for the proper handling, documentation, emergency response, and transportation of hazardous materials in various scenarios, including tunnels, railroads, and bulk packaging.
Additional Courses
The School Bus Endorsement Course prepares commercial drivers to safely transport students by mastering school bus–specific laws, procedures, and risk controls. The course focuses on danger zone awareness, mirror use and scanning, safe student loading/unloading with warning systems, railroad crossing procedures, emergency evacuations, and student behavior management—building the skills needed to pass the School Bus (S) endorsement exam and operate confidently in real-world school transportation.
The Passenger Transport Endorsement Course trains commercial drivers to safely and professionally operate passenger vehicles such as transit buses, motorcoaches, and shuttles. It covers passenger-specific inspections, safe boarding and unloading, defensive driving and space management, passenger safety and conduct, emergency response procedures, and prohibited/unsafe practices—preparing learners for both the CDL passenger endorsement exam and real-world service.
The Doubles and Triples Endorsement Course prepares commercial drivers to safely operate long combination vehicles (LCVs). You’ll learn how to inspect multi-trailer setups, correctly couple and uncouple trailers and converter dollies, manage air systems, and apply safe driving and braking techniques to reduce sway, offtracking, rollover risk, and equipment failures—while staying compliant with state and federal requirements.
The Tanker Endorsement Course prepares commercial drivers to safely operate tank vehicles by understanding how liquid cargo behaves during braking, turning, and acceleration. Learners cover tanker-specific inspections, tank design differences (smooth-bore, baffled, compartmented), surge control techniques, safe loading/unloading practices, emergency response basics, and safe parking/security procedures—supporting success on the tanker endorsement exam and real-world operations.
This course provides CDL drivers with a practical introduction to using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) for daily Hours-of-Service (HOS) compliance. Learners will understand why HOS rules exist, how ELDs support safety and compliance, and what drivers are responsible for when logging in, selecting duty status, reviewing logs, and handling roadside inspections. The course also covers required onboard ELD documents, common malfunction procedures, and best practices for accurate recordkeeping.
